When my grandparents came to America from County Mayo, Ireland in the 1920s, they opened a pub in the suburbs of Philadelphia called Kearns's Café.  Now I have opened this virtual Kearns Café with literary offerings, event listings, and links.

Allow me to wish you a hearty Cead Mile Failte (100,000 Welcomes.)

Come on in and relax in one of the café’s several rooms.

And enjoy what this literary café, serves up:

  • Resignations
  • Sons of Molly Maguire
  • In a Bucket of Blood
  • Designers with Dirty Faces
  • In the Wilderness

  • “The Importance of Loving Shakespeare”
  • "Hanging Questions"
  • "I Knew You'd Say That!"
  • “World Piece”
  • "Copy 8852" (A collaboration)
  • "Dialog of Athena and Columbia" (In progress)
